Chapter 13 Verse 11:
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But, when I became a man, I put away the things of a child.
Shouldn’t it be “For better or worse, richer or poorer, in health and in sickness?” Why did they switch that whole first is better thing, i.e., “For better or worse, richer or poorer and in sickness and in health.”
I guess whoever wrote those vows wanted to end it on a good note. π
Also I think there is a thin line between give and get and give and take. In fact, there may just be 4 types of people in the world. Those who give, those who get, those who take and those who get taken. π
Sometimes “getting it” can mean you don’t really get it and “not getting it” can mean there’s nothing to get. π

DEHABILITATED (adj).
Used in a sentence: The righteous need to be dehabilitated constantly. This dehabilitation will probably never get off the ground since the state of righteousness usually comes about through rehabilitation. And therein lies the rub. π
Happiest is he/she who has figured out how to be happy with the deck stacked against them. And I suppose the first step is figuring out that the deck is, in fact, stacked against you. π
