Today we are throwing a belated birthday party for Janet’s Mom. We were going to reschedule it to yesterday evening but my Mom pushed for us to keep the party scheduled for today, saying: “We wouldn’t have minded a “wintry mix” on Saturday (isn’t it a bit early to forecast that far in advance when things often don’t pan out as predicted?)”

I, for one, can’t wait to see who actually shows up. 🙂
