Cherry picking?
Read the Bible they said…
Luke 19:27 (English Standard Version-ESV)
27But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.”
No matter where I go, there but for the grace of no gods, I am.

Luke 19:27 (English Standard Version-ESV)
27But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.”
religion is about deciding that some people are different – basically – from other people. We’re not.
This thing about these people – who’re like us. They just do different things from some of us, their religion regardless.
You talk as though Muslim women/men are this way; as though Jewish men/women are this way. That is beyond stupid to say. The category does not exist – Muslim – or ANY kind of man, woman identified by their religion, or nationality, or any of the many other categories by which present controlling civilization has taught us to categorize ourselves/each other.
We’re not like that – !!! any of those!
The interesting point to consider is, who gets bored with continual access to a loved sexual partner ? People stuck on a mountainside in Afghanistan, having run from earthquakes – about 5 years ago, still struggling to survive? People having bombs dropped on them by imperialist invaders? Homeless people, drinking the madness away, sleeping in a doorway? Hungry people? People working two jobs and coming home to do maintenance – housekeeping, to get up the next day to work the two jobs – the housework usually combining child-care?
Who seeks sex entertainment? Who wrote those porn books that ‘the enlightened’ want to pass off as art – the books from the lately hallowed ‘East’?
yeah –

Babble in progress:
No higher power is needed to achieve one’s destiny. In fact, not achieving one’s destiny is what may require a higher power.
We are going to believe some falsehoods and we are going to disbelieve some truths, and the less we do of one, the more we will unavoidably do of the other.
I think we can all agree that comparisons are very limiting or they can cause limitations. I used to think better comparisons would lead to less limitations. Now I have come to realize that less comparisons lead to less limitations.
I am a personal optimist but a skeptic about all else. What may sound to some like anger is really nothing more than sympathetic contempt. I view my species with a combination of wonder and pity, and I root for its destruction. And please don’t confuse my point of view with cynicism; the real cynics are the ones who tell you everything’s gonna be all right. —G.C.
The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true. So I elect for neither label. —J.B.C.
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
(Matthew 6:6 is contradicted by 1 Timothy 2:8
which calls for prayer every where.)
